I know a lot of our colleagues back from Uni never knew how much I appreciated you Awak (as I always called you). Even when I knew Awak was your surname, I kept calling you that because the name sounds funny to me. Unlike others, you never felt offended, you would always smile revealing your beautiful gapped teeth, correct me and then called me Era in response.

If there was anyone I truly admired back then in Uni, it was you my dear Akon Awak, because you hardly frown, you were so brilliant and always having positive energy around you.

We were never besties in school and even after school, but you were among the few people in my life I knew in my heart I would never say NO to.

Your death came to me as a shock and I am still pained till now about it.

Akon, you were an angel. I wonder if or when I would ever find someone with that beautiful smile of yours, as I am a very strict judge when it comes to such...rest on my dear friend.

May your journey to the great beyond be smooth my dear friend Akon Awak. I am honestly pained, but I can't question GOD 😔
