For Nigeria to progress, everything about the civil war must be forgotten or ignored.

I have listened to past interviews of the leaders at both ends and I heard them say that the war was regrettable and a costly mistake.

Late Ojukwu said so

Yakubu Gowon too said so.

Unfortunately, the memories linger on based on different tales told to different generation till now.

I have read lots of books about it and I have seen so many contradictions, claims and counter claims.

Some attributes that led to the war are presently being exhibited by the younger generations.

unwarranted hatred for ourselves.

Definitely, some day, there will be revolution.

Not revolution of Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa , I jaw, Tivs, Ur hobo, Edo, Egede ,kogites or Fulani but a collective revolution to liberate ourselves.

Daily, I asked myself, what's the value that the NYSC scheme has added to Nigeria since its inception? I have seen none.

Even the so-called educated Nigerians are more filled with hate and vile towards one another.

Very funny, it is Nigerians that are outside politics that fight themselves the most. Once you joined politics, you will know pretty well why you should not fight one another.

Many Nigerians do not even understand the political dynamics of Nigerians.

The kind of governance we run in Nigeria is subject to party politics.

It is a system of winner takes all.

It is all about the survival of the fittest.

No nation grows on such ideology.

The present generation talks too much without action.

Some are claiming Yoruba first , Yoruba nation, Oodua republic, Arewa Republic, Biafra nation but in all sincerity ,they are all business platform.

Many young people do not even understand what's happening around the nation.

I was once a member of the OPC. Since its inception till date, what are the achievement toward actualization of oodua republic? Its all power struggle and fractionalization.

I was once a member of the Agebkoya solidarity movement. What are its achievements till date? Its all factionalization and power struggle.

At a time, a meeting was held towards harmonising foreign networks to achieve oodua republic. Advice was given and implication of such act was told to them and in the end till date, many of them are in prison.

We need thorough education outside academics to truly broaden the mind of our people.

The Biafra struggle was also factionalized. from MASSOB to IPOB. Its all business for individual gains and benefit.

The movement for the emancipation of the Niger Delta too ended up in making some selected few billionaires.

The North is there and had already been taken over by terrorism. Not because of the need to get the people free but because of the need to mine their solid minerals illegally.

Considering these factors, tribalism can never free any region in nigeria.

On the surface, we boil with hate and venom amongst ourselves citizens but politically, we have no option against being called Nigerians.

It is when we commoners truly understand the political dynamics of our nation then, we will be free.

We have seen people go abroad, gather resources and ended up brainwashing many poverty ridden populace to engage in treason.

Nigeria can't easily be broken.

It is complex.

Exposure-wise, I do not think that we truly deserve independence in the first place. But since we have gotten it till now, evidence everywhere has proven that we are truly not ripe to lead ourselves.

The civil war was part of the learning process for growth and development .

If we are truly ripe to lead ourselves, we ought to have forgotten about it.

We need thorough education.

We are always in competition against ourselves.

Naturally, competition is supposed to exhume development but in Nigeria its bringing destruction. At any opportunity ,we want to destroy ourselves.

There's no true love. Major penchant is self glory and vanity.

We love irrelevant comparison.

The other time, Reno Omokri was comparing haircut in London to that of nigeria whilst neglecting the hash economic condition most Nigerians are facing. We are too selfish a people.

The national Orientation Agency has a lot to do.

By law, Nigerians can be anything anywhere they are within nigeria but unfortunately, by our attitude and selfish pursuit, we do not want it in reality.

A rep member in lagos who is from the eastern part of nigeria gave empowerment to his constituency men and women and majority of those people are from the east with four Yoruba out of twenty five individual. Ordinarily, we are supposed to understand that such happened because of the party politics and governance system in Nigeria and the winner take it all mentality. He is in labour party and he emerged during the 2023 Obedient movement.

Until we practice true governance, such imbalance won't stop to happen. Even in the presidency, its happening.

The same way the Yoruba's are filled with hate, the Igbo's are also filled with hate against one another. How long are we going to continue doing this?

The solution is that there should be a law in Nigeria against tribalism. Any tribal related action should deserve punishment.

When I was in the University, I discretely fought against tribalism and religious bigotry but its like Nigerians are obsessed with tribal hatred.

At any given time too,we change narration from tribal bigotry to religious bigotry. It seems there's a curse on ground for the nation to be retrogressed.

To change our nation, we must be on the ground and not faraway and be blowing the breeze of division yet the focus of many outside is the struggle for green pasture.

We just love to be deceiving ourselves.

If we start seeing ourselves as one,we will achieve a lot as a people.

God won't come down to help any nation.
