Finlay House of Inclusion was featured on Air Prince 89.7 FM in a conversation on indigenous inclusion and community development.

The discussion explored how indigenous and community grievances can be properly documented, channelled and escalated to the appropriate quarters for attention and redress.

At Finlay House of Inclusion, the focus remains on strengthening the connection between communities, law and institutions, so that community concerns do not remain unheard or unresolved due to a lack of information about available channels.

Meaningful inclusion requires more than giving communities a voice. It requires pathways through which that voice can reach the institutions with the responsibility and capacity to act.

At Finlay House of Inclusion (Finlay HOI) Team facilitated a capacity-building workshop on Data Protection for Improved Service Delivery for 73 Chief Data Processing Assistants across Local Government Areas, LCDAs, LGSC and LGSPB.

The training focused on the practical importance of responsible data processing, privacy, institutional accountability and the protection of personal information within public-sector administration.

Participants explored how stronger data protection practices can contribute to efficient administration, public trust and improved service delivery, while strengthening institutional awareness of data-related responsibilities and risks.

As public institutions increasingly rely on data to deliver services, building the capacity to manage information responsibly is essential to effective, accountable and citizen-centred governance.

At Finlay House of Inclusion, institutional capacity building remains an important part of strengthening the relationship between communities and institutions and supporting more responsive public service.

Securing sustainable development begins at the grassroots. Today @ Finlay HOI, we engaged members of the community on the importance of Law, Community Development, and Inclusion.
We emphasized that communities should not always wait for government intervention, as many challenges can be addressed through collective action and local participation. We also highlighted that ignorance is not only doing what is wrong, but also failing to do what is right.
Finally, we stressed the importance of involving all members of the community, regardless of age, gender, or social status, in the development process, because sustainable progress is only possible when everyone is included. Foi team
