CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE ON THE CONCLUSION OF RAMADAN
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,
All praise is due to Allah who granted us the opportunity to witness and complete the blessed month of Ramadan. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all Muslim women in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the successful completion of this sacred period of fasting, prayer, and devotion.
Ramadan has come and gone, but the essence of Ramadan must remain with us. The spirit of increased worship, sincere repentance, charity, patience, and self-discipline should not end with the month. Rather, it should continue to reflect in our daily lives as we strive to remain steadfast in our عبادات (acts of worship) and obedience to Allah.
As believing women, let us hold firmly to the lessons learned during Ramadan such as maintaining our prayers, recitation of the Qur’an, acts of kindness, and consciousness of Allah in all that we do. Indeed, the true sign of an accepted Ramadan is the continuation of righteous deeds after it.
Furthermore, we urge all Muslim women to be ambassadors of peace within our homes, communities, and the Ummah at large. Let us foster unity, love, and understanding among fellow Muslims, avoiding actions or words that may lead to division. Islam is a religion of peace, and it is our duty to uphold and promote this noble value at all times.
May Allah accept all our acts of worship, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us the opportunity to witness many more Ramadans in good health and Iman.
