YOUNG MAN, WHY YOUR ADDICTIONS REFUSES TO GO AWAY !
One of the most subtle gateways of bo***ge is frustration. Many do not discern this, and so the enemy uses it as a legal ground to lure them back into cycles they thought they had conquered.
You must understand this mystery. Addictions are often fed, not by desire, but by accumulated frustration.
That heavy, indescribable feeling that rests on you at times, a blend of pain, regret, mental pressure, and guilt, is not always demonic oppression. Often, it is simply frustration seeking expression. And because the flesh is trained to seek relief, many run toward the quickest escape: po*******hy, ma********on, smoking, drinking, anger, or attacking others.
Thus, the soul becomes conditioned: “When I am frustrated, I fall.”
How then do you break this pattern?
Not by willpower.
Not by motivational resolve.
You break it by prayer.
A man who does not pray will always be a slave to his emotions. Prayer is not just communication; it is alignment, release, and the exchange of burdens for the peace of God. Prayer repairs the heart and recalibrates the soul.
When you truly pray, God takes what you cannot carry, and your spirit rises above the weight that once pushed you back into your weaknesses.
Now listen carefully:
When those lusts awaken at the moment of frustration, do not deny their presence. Acknowledge them! yes! but do not submit to them.
Acknowledge that these impulses dwell in the flesh, but also acknowledge that the Spirit of God forbids your mind to obey them.
From this consciousness, you enforce a decree over your body:
“My mind is governed by the Spirit. My body will not execute the desires of the flesh.”
This is how apostolic deliverance begins,
Not merely by casting out demons, but by training the soul to refuse the flesh and yield to the Spirit.
This is how men become free.
