We are pleased to announce the take off of our school environmental club in four secondary schools in Eleme, Rivers State.

E-LIFE in-school environmental club is a flagship initiative of Eco-Care & Life Enhancement (E-LIFE) which stated as a pilot phase in 2019 with two schools and one community club all in the Alode community of Eleme.

With increasing environmental disasters and the prediction of flooding by NiMet and NEMA, our organization is taking proactive steps to educate the youth and entire populace using school and community clubs component with mass media sensitization to keep people educated and responsible in taking care of their environment for enhanced livelihoods.

Our approach is simple and holistic, in the sense that we educate, train and inspire our younger generations to take the lead as environmental stewards and influence their peers, household and community to be responsible for their environment and well being through proper waste management, pollution prevention and control using peer to peer influence, household and neighborhood action for environment and climate.

We are targeting 400 students each LGA, with 40 students in each of 10 schools selected for a LGA in Rivers State between 2025 to 2028 with partnership with relevant stakeholders.

Also we hope to inaugurate an community environmental youth club of 20 members in ten wards of each LGA for community environmental action.
