UNTIL EVERYONE IS SAFE

Shelter of Hope and Resilience Initiative (SHRI) joined the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI),government ministries,departments and agencies,humanitarian partners and displaced women and children in commemorating the 2026 World Refugee Day in Zamfara State

The commemoration featured a solidarity road walk aimed at raising awareness of the challenges faced by refugees,returnees and internally displaced persons while promoting collective action towards their protection, inclusion and well-being

The event brought together stakeholders from across the humanitarian and development sectors,reaffirming a shared commitment to supporting displaced populations and advocating for their rights,dignity and access to opportunities for a better future

As we commemorate World Refugee Day,we stand in solidarity with millions of displaced persons around the world and renew our commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind

We are deeply honored to receive this Letter of Appreciation from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Relief Matters,Zamfara State.
This recognition reflects our continued commitment to serving Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and vulnerable communities across Zamfara State especially throughout 2025. We are grateful that our humanitarian efforts have been acknowledged and that our work continues to bring hope and relief to families in need.
