REPORT OF VISIT TO ONE OF OUR NOMINATIONS TO SERVE AS PATRON, Dr. ABDULLAHI A. LAMIDO

The An-Najah Charity Initiative paid a courtesy visit to one of its Patrons, Dr. Abdullahi Abubakar Lamido, as part of its stakeholder engagement and patronage drive.

The delegation was led by the Chairman, QS Aliyu Usman, accompanied by the Vice Chairman, Malam Abubakar Bello, the Financial Secretary, Dr. Aliyu Yusuf Muhammad, Assistant Fin. Sec. Malam Abdulkadir Ahmad, Asst. Auditor Malam Usman Adamu Hassan, Resource Mobilization Officers Malam Abdulkadir Abubakar and Hajiya Majida Adamu Musa.

During the visit, the leadership of the An-Najah Charity Initiative formally introduced the organization, highlighted its establishment, membership strength, vision, aims & objectives, achievements and ongoing activities, and presented the proposal for his appointment as a Patron of the Initiative.

The visit was fruitful, as Dr. Abdullahi Lamido warmly received the team, offered valuable advice and prayers (such as continue with the initiative as it has basis in Nigerian setting, defining specific areas of operation, consistency in our works, need to focus and understand what we are doing, and of course training of members in capacity building related to the initiative duties and responsibilities), and graciously accepted the appointment as one of the Patrons of the An-Najah Charity Initiative. He expressed his support for the Initiative’s mission and encouraged the team to remain committed to humanitarian service and community development. He donated 6nr copies of books related to Zakka, Waqf and Da'awah to An-Najah Charity Initiative for reading which will benefit all members.

The team appreciated his warm reception, blessings, and acceptance, and reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with him in advancing the goals of the Initiative and promise to practicalise the advice rendered.
