WORKERS’ DAY 2026 MESSAGE
By the Chairman, Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (Gombe State Chapter).

On this special occasion of Workers’ Day 2026, the Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria (Gombe State Chapter) warmly celebrates all workers for their dedication, resilience, and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of our dear state.

We particularly commend Community Health Practitioners across Gombe State for their unwavering commitment to providing essential healthcare services, often under challenging conditions, especially at the primary healthcare level.

In the spirit of this year’s celebration, we humbly wish to draw the kind attention of the Gombe State Government to the need for strengthening the healthcare workforce in our facilities, where gaps in manpower still exist.

Addressing this will greatly enhance service delivery and improve health outcomes for our communities.

We respectfully appeal that, in considering future employment opportunities, priority may kindly be given to the many qualified Community Health Practitioners who have been selflessly volunteering in various health facilities across the state. Their years of dedicated service, commitment, and sacrifice have significantly supported the healthcare system, and recognizing them will serve as both encouragement and a step towards sustaining quality of care.

We sincerely appreciate the efforts of the government in advancing the health sector and remain hopeful for continued collaboration in building a stronger and more responsive healthcare system for the people of Gombe State.

Once again, we wish Community Health Practitioners and all workers a peaceful and fulfilling Workers’ Day celebration.
