📚✨ AGILE Second Chance Education Project

The State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), alongside the Wildan Care Foundation, paid a monitoring and support visit to the Herwagana Learning Centre in Gombe as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the AGILE Second Chance Education Project.

The visit focused on assessing learning activities, vocational training sessions, learner participation, and the overall progress of the programme aimed at empowering out-of-school girls and women through education and skills acquisition.

AGILE Second Chance Education Programme – Monitoring Visit in Gombe

The AGILE Second Chance Education National Team Lead, alongside her team, conducted a monitoring visit to the **GANDU Learning Centre in Gombe, Gombe State**, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen learning outcomes and ensure quality service delivery.

Highlights from the AGILE Planning Meeting in Gombe

Stakeholders from across the education sector gathered for the **Multi-Stakeholder Planning Meeting for Year 2 Implementation of the AGILE Second Chance Education (SCE) Project**, held on **16 February 2026** at Flourish Hotel, Gombe State.

The meeting brought together government officials, community leaders, civil society organisations, and development partners to review progress and plan the next phase of expanding **second-chance education opportunities for adolescent girls** across the state. The engagement reaffirmed a shared commitment to empowering girls through inclusive and accessible education.
