📻 From Awareness to Action!
Foundation For Community Empowerment FOCEI, in partnership with Breaking The Silence: WACOL/Tamar SARC WACOL, took the conversation on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) to the airwaves through a live discussion on Radio Gombe.

The programme showcased key achievements of the project, including the training of 200+ women leaders, engagement of 100+ faith and cultural leaders, and the establishment of community response structures that are helping to break the culture of silence and strengthen GBV reporting.

When women are empowered, communities are transformed. Together, we are building a future where dignity, justice, and equality prevail over violence and fear.

Yesterday, Foundation For Community Empowerment FOCEI in collaboration with Breaking The Silence: WACOL/Tamar SARC WACOL successfully convened a Multi-Level Dialogue and Sensitization Workshop

The dialogue brought together religious leaders, cultural leaders, women leaders, and community stakeholders to deepen understanding of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), challenge harmful norms, and strengthen collective action for safer communities.

Through insightful presentations, interactive discussions, and shared commitments, participants renewed their resolve to promote gender justice, protect the vulnerable, and break the culture of silence surrounding GBV.
Real change begins when communities unite with one voice against violence. Together, we are building a future where dignity, equality, and justice are realities for all.

Yesterday, in commemoration of International ’s , Foundation For Community Empowerment FOCEI staff and volunteers visited the Paediatric Ward of Gombe State Specialist Hospital to share love and hope with admitted children. ❤️

We donated food items and toiletries to support the patients and the hospital, and most importantly, we prayed for the quick recovery of the children at the ward.

Every child deserves care, love, and a healthy future. Together, let’s continue to show kindness and put smiles on the faces of vulnerable children. 🌍✨
