Iracoda Isabu Foundation stepped into the heart of the farm economy, Madala Market.

We listened before we spoke.
We observed before we documented.
We met farmers whose hands tell stories that words can not fully explain.

From fresh produce to cattle, from quiet struggles to loud hopes, every frame captured today carries a truth: our farmers are preparing for a new season, and they can not do it alone.

As the farming season approaches, the need for support, tools, access, and advocacy becomes more urgent. These are not just farmers. They are food providers, community builders, and the backbone of our future.

Today was not just about pictures or videos.
It was about stories that must be told and voices that must be heard.

At Iracoda Isabu Foundation, we remain committed to standing with our farmers, documenting their realities, amplifying their needs, and working toward meaningful support where it matters most.

This is only the beginning.

Behind every bag of rice and beans is a farmer with a story.

At Anagada Community, we listened, observed, and engaged with farmers to better understand their realities as the farming season approaches.

Iracoda Isabu Foundation is on ground for a visibility and engagement study — a step towards designing timely and meaningful support for farmers who feed our nation.

Support opportunities will be shared as we continue this journey.

In agriculture, waiting for perfect conditions is the fastest way to miss the season.

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant.

Why wait for the perfect rainfall, the perfect capital, the perfect tools, or the perfect market before planting?

Why delay starting because everything is not yet in place, when farming itself teaches us to work with uncertainty?

Every planting season has a window.
Miss it, and no amount of regret can bring it back.

The longer you wait for perfect conditions, the more land stays idle, the more yields are lost, and the more opportunities that move to those who dared to plant anyway.

While some are still analyzing the clouds, others are already in the field.

While some are waiting for everything to align, others are learning, adjusting, and growing.

I’m saying this first to myself and to every farmer, agripreneur, and stakeholder waiting for “the right time”:
Start with the land you have.
Plant with the resources within reach.
Learn in the process.

Agriculture does not reward perfection.
It rewards action, consistency, and courage.

Plant now.
The season won’t wait.

Farmers feed the nation 🌱
Over 70% of Nigeria’s food comes from smallholder farmers, yet many are still unsupported.
At the Iracoda Isabu Foundation, we believe supporting farmers means building a stronger future.

16/01/2026

“Nobody has ever asked us what we need.”

Those were the words of a farmer we met during our recent visit to the community.
Not complaints. Not anger. Just truth.

He told us about the daily struggles
🌾 farming with little or no support
🚜 no access to basic farming tools or mechanization
💧 relying on unpredictable rainfall
📉 producing food that feeds many, yet earning almost nothing in return

For years, these farmers have carried the burden of feeding communities silently.

At the Iracoda Isabu Foundation, we believe that development must begin by listening.
That is why we go to the communities.
That is why we sit with the farmers.
That is why we ask questions and amplify their voices.

This visit is not just a visit.
It is a call to action.

To policymakers, development partners, NGOs, private sector players, and well-meaning individuals:
Our farmers need support. Real support. Sustainable support.

When farmers are empowered, communities thrive.

When communities thrive, the nation grows.

We are committed to being the bridge between rural farmers and the opportunities they deserve.

📍 Community visit | 🎥 Farmer engagement | 🌱 Listening before solutions

No farmer should struggle alone.

“The strength of a nation is found in its farmers.”

Our team visited the Tunga Maje community and had heartfelt conversations with farmers about their triumphs and the challenges they face daily.

Through the Iracoda Isabu Foundation, we remain committed to supporting families, improving livelihoods, and promoting agriculture as a pathway to stability and growth.

Tunga Maje was inspiring, and we’re grateful for the warm welcome from the community. 🌾💚
