UNTH Foundation Staff Members Celebrate Christmas Bonding

The UNTH Foundation marked a beautiful milestone this year with its first-ever Christmas celebration on Tuesday ; the 16th Dec 2025, graciously hosted by the CEO, Prof. Nwagha, at her residence in UNEC. It was more than a party — it was a warm, vibrant gathering that reflected unity, appreciation, and the spirit of the season.

From the moment staff members arrived, the atmosphere was filled with excitement. There was plenty to eat, engaging games that kept everyone laughing, and a sense of togetherness that made the evening truly special.

Highlight of the Day:
One of the most memorable moments was the presentation of the Most Valuable Staff of 2025 Award, which went to Mr. Okechukwu. His recognition came with a certificate, a cash prize, and a beautifully framed picture for his office — a well‑deserved honor that drew applause and admiration from everyone present.

Heartfelt Reflections:
As the evening progressed, staff members opened up about their experiences working with Prof. Nwagha over the past six months. Their words painted a picture of a dynamic, inspiring leader whose energy and commitment have shaped the foundation’s growth. The sincerity of these reflections added emotional depth to the celebration.

Gifts for All:
In a gesture that surprised and delighted everyone, each staff member went home with a thoughtful Christmas package:

1. 10kg of Rice
2. 4 liter of groundnut oil
3. Big satchet of tomatoes
4. 2 packets of Spaghetti
5. 1 packet of Maggi Star cube
6. Stew spice

This generous act — the first of its kind at the foundation — left a lasting impression and motivated the team to aim even higher in the coming year.

Ending on a Joyful Note:
The celebration wrapped up with lively dancing, the cutting of the Christmas cake, and even more dancing. By the end of the night, every attendee left with a full heart, a bright smile, and a renewed sense of belonging.

The 2025 UNTH Foundation Christmas bonding celebration wasn’t just an event — it was a beautiful reminder of togetherness, gratitude, and the power of leadership that uplifts others.

Strengthening Impact Through Partnership

Ogemek CEO; Dr Fred and Team visited UNTH Foundation to explore deeper collaboration.

We’re proud to have already joined hands through the UNTH Foundation Christmas Charity Outreach, and we’re excited about what’s ahead!

Dr Fred emphasized their commitment to media visibility, transparency, and Christ-centered compassion—meeting needs first, then guiding hearts.

Together, we discussed:
✅ Hosting outreach twice a year
✅ Partnering with other organizations
✅ Expanding to communities & prisons
✅ Integrating NHIS health insurance into future efforts

As a gesture of goodwill, UNTH Foundation gifted the CEO of Ogemek and his staff members water flasks & phone holders; a symbol of shared purpose.

Prof Nwagha highlighted to give 200% support from UNTH Foundation and look forward to submitting our proposal to build something truly impactful.

Building Bridges for Mental Health: UNTH Foundation Visits Cope and Live Foundation

On Friday December 12, 2025, the UNTH Foundation team, led by CEO Prof. Theresa Nwagha, paid a courtesy visit to the Cope and Live Foundation at 29 Independence Layout, Enugu.

The meeting was an opportunity to extend friendship, explore shared values, and discuss potential collaboration in the area of mental health programs. Both organizations expressed enthusiasm about working together to address the growing need for mental health awareness, support, and care within the community.

Why This Matters
Mental health remains one of the most underserved aspects of healthcare in Nigeria. By joining forces, UNTH Foundation and Cope and Live Foundation aim to:
- Promote mental health awareness campaigns
- Provide counseling and support services
- Train volunteers and healthcare workers on mental health interventions
- Create safe spaces for individuals and families affected by mental health challenges

Looking Ahead
The partnership will be formalized once the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is signed. This collaboration promises to be a turning point in expanding UNTH Foundation’s outreach beyond physical health to include emotional and psychological well-being.

Prof. Nwagha emphasized:
"True healing goes beyond the body—it embraces the mind and spirit. Together, we will make mental health a priority."

Christmas Charity Outreach – D-Day Success!

The UNTH Foundation Christmas Charity Outreach was a resounding success!

We were honored to have the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of UNTH, the Secretary of the UNTH Foundation Board of Trustees, and other distinguished personalities in attendance. Their participation, including receiving health examinations alongside the community, sent a powerful message: healthcare is for everyone, and compassion unites us all.

Lots of less privileged individuals and indigent patients benefited from free medical care, screenings, and consultations. The atmosphere was filled with joy, dignity, and hope.
