For our second session we talked on the essence of life and indeed it was an amazing topic. Here are some nuggets from the teaching.

The essence of life is tied to the one who created you. Everything that has been created has a manual on how to go about it that’s why God left the Bible as our manual.

How to know your essence
1)Find God:He is your creator and He’s the one that reveals the essence and purpose of your life.

2)Build relationship with Him:This allows to understand him and understand the opportunities you have when you become like him.

3)Ambition/Calling:Ambition is your field while calling is that which your creator has made for you.let your calling be the influencer of your ambition. If your calling is not connected to your ambition then you are indeed headed for the wrong direction.

Today we talked about emotional wounds and how to heal from emotional wounds. Here are some nuggets from the teaching.

Emotional wounds are experiences that cut so deep in your heart. For example,it could be verbal or physical abuse.

Signs Of Emotional Wound
* Lack Of joy/depression
* Stubbornness
* Brokenness
* Rejection
* Lack of self esteem/confidence

Steps To Heal From Emotional Wounds
* Acknowledgment:Admit that you have a problem
* Go to God to help you
* Release people from your heart:learn to forgive.unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting another person to die. When you forgive people,you release yourself.
* Be able to open up for counseling

N:B-Healing it’s not instantly achieved,it is a process.
