Our organization advocates for policies that protect women's and children's rights! 🌟

One way we're doing this is by working with the Enugu State Ministry of Education and Ministry of Gender Affairs and Social Development to include gender-based violence prevention studies in the curriculum for secondary schools (Basic 1-12).

💡This initiative is backed by a policy directive from the Commissioner for Education, ensuring a safer and more informed learning environment. 🌎

By doing this, we're aiming to reduce GBV cases in schools, increase awareness and knowledge among students, and improve school safety. 🌈 Despite encountering resistance from some stakeholders, we're committed to driving change. 🤝

We're proud to partner closely with the Director of Education Resource Center (ERC), Enugu State, Barr Georgina Ikweze, to drive this change. Together, we're creating a safer future for girls and women! 💪
