Man: The Head

✝ 1 Corinthians 11:3

"But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God."

✝ Ephesians 5:23

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body."

What does it mean to head?
Headship is Leadership, if Headship is Leadership then what is Leadership?
Leadership is the ability to coordinate, manage, harness, build, develop, foresee, hindsee. accept responsibility, frontier, pathfinder, bridge building, defence, mirror, avatar, model.

The man is the head of his wife by extension the head of his family.
The man should possess the qualities described above as the head of the family. It's an error for you to look for gain when work is not in place. You don't demand harvest when you have not planted.
Leadership is not occupying the position, leadership is piloting, and managing both human and material resources for production and growth. Quality leadership is to consciously ensure that within the circle of your influence that there is sincere growth and active enthusiasm for greater manifestation. The circle of your influence while working to interpret your dreams, their dreams find expression with yours as a support system. If you sincerely wish your subordinate well, you won't be threatened by his/her rise. You will be proud of the great people that they are turning into because they are your products.

Man is the leader of the wife and his family at large.
It's a misplaced priority to demand respect and honour that you didn't merit. Positions carry honour and respect but the reception of honour is a function of what the occupant of the position has done with the position that he occupies.

"Don't beg for respect rather command " respect" these were the exact words my late mother told me when I came home as a little teenage child to announce that I have been appointed a school prefect. My late father said "lead by example". In Leadership, there is a place of negotiations and the place of firm decision. Know that you are responsible for your decisions and actions as a leader.
Leadership is not emotions and sentiments. It's reality.
Know your bounds as a leader.

If you provide quality leadership as a man you will command respect and honour effortlessly. You earn honour and respect. Work for it, labour for it, when others are sleeping stay awake when others are caught up in the ecstasy of pleasure, be caught in the web of putting pressure on your make-up for a better you.

No man should be your yardstick for measuring your success because your make-up differs......
Man develop yourself with the consciousness that you have a generation to lead. Provide quality leadership because society begins with your family.
As the head, be in charge of your family spiritually, mentally, socially, academically, morally, financially and in all ramifications.

Anytime you have to remind your subordinate that you are the head, it simply means that you have missed it somewhere, it's either you are not providing quality leadership or you fail to exercise the authority associated with your position.

To what extend have you provided leadership in your family. Providing basic needs of the family is not leadership sir, even smaller animals do that. Leadership is dishing out virtue and value.
It's lost sight of assignment to think that all you owe your family is to make provisions for their needs. You are the head, head every department of your family. Don't just tell the children and your wife what they are supposed to do, be the first to start. Be consistent and they will follow suit.
Man don't clamour for a by-product of leadership, develop leadership and provide leadership.

If the only reason you think you are the head of your family is for respect then you will spend the rest of your life begging for respect.

I love the menfolk, I respect what you represent. I plead with you to take your place and position in the family and provide quality leadership to kick the devil out of your family and by extension the society.

Being the first child doesn’t mean that the person will be the greatest among his/her family members. We must give every child equal opportunity as much as it’s possible with us.
Joseph was the eleventh son of Jacob but God chose to lay the responsibility of leadership on him.
Our personality differs, and that is the beauty of life. The disparity in our reasoning makes our existence relevant. If the area of weakness of one is the area of strength of another, that announces our relevance and greatness is attained. We do well to recognize and appreciate each other’s contribution. This unhealthy competition we have allowed over time is the reason we have not been able to maximize our potentials. Life was not originally fashioned to be lived in that manner, life was fashioned in such a way that we live as a community that has an impact as a common goal. Your weakness might be my strength vice versa, your strength covers my weakness and mine covers your weakness, limitation is deleted from our dictionary of existence, together we achieve more. Life is beautiful if we understand that we are meant to live as a community.

You are the most important specie on earth so guide your heart.
No two humans are exactly the same including identical twin meaning in the whole wide world I'm the only specie that ever existed and will ever exist. I'm sort after, my world needs me.
I don't need all the degrees in the world to be sort after, all I need is to leave with the mentality that I am unique and God decorated me with a fragrance of sort after. If nobody is looking for me, that means it's not God it's me What am I doing with myself to release what God wired inside me to maintain the beauty of the creation he handed over to humanity. That is the question we should leave him with daily. As I retire to my bed at night, it's important to have a retrospect on my actions for the day if all I did not affect my growth and the growth of another then it's a wasted day.
The world will be boring if we all behave alike
