It is yet another new month of celebration as Smart Ogbata Foundation has once more added another scholarship beneficiary to her scholarship scheme

Meet our latest beneficiary, UFFI HAPPINESS SUNDAY, a HND2 Marketing student at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, from Eyulro-oro in Oron local government area of Akwa Ibom State

Her admittance into Prince Smart Ogbata Scholarship Scheme is hinged on the passionate drive of the foundation to encourage and build our youths through rapid advanced education empowerment in line with our creed that investments towards human capital development is still the most resourceful investment ever

More blessings upon our selfless benefactor Ogbata Smart (Ogbuefi Akuenwebe 1 na Umuabi) as we pray that this chain of educational empowerment keeps expanding as our beneficiaries keeps soaring in in their various disciplines and endeavours

ANOTHER INVESTMENT IN THE BEST DIRECTION

Smart Ogbata Foundation unveils this February 2026 with yet another scholarship admissions to two worthy scholars.

One is a potential promising engineer from Amaji Umuabi in the person of Chinedu Ugochukwu Wisdom, a 300 Level Civil Engineering student at AE-FUNAI while the other is Faith Amarachi Uzoigwe from Ololi in Awgu Town, a HND Final student at the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu who has been admitted in the scheme from her HND 1.

Their admissions into Smart Ogbata Scholarship Scheme tallies to 21 beneficiaries of the scheme whose crux and drive is to create a generational wealth amongst youths through quality education.

Congratulations to Chinedu Ugochukwu Wisdom and Faith Amarachi Uzoigwe once more, we hope you both become great ambassadors of Smart Ogbata Foundation, your contemporary societies and the universe at large as we keep praying for abundance of divine blessings upon the benefactor Ogbuefi Akuenwebe 1 na Umuabi for his passionate and perfect investment in human capital development.

Smart Ogbata Foundation [SOF] in her passionate drive of "sustaining humanity first" and with the high value and believe we placed on the liberation, exposure,knowledge and empowerment that comes through quality education has once more extended her benevolence to two (2) more undergraduates from Umuabi

One of the recent beneficiaries is Eneachala Chidiogo Maryjane from Amaji Umuabi , a 100 Level Linguistics student of Alex Ekwuemwe Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State while the other is Ike Ekenedilichukwu Joan from Imeama Umuabi, a 200 Level Medical Rehabilitation student of University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC)

The admission of these latest duo into Prince Smart Ogbata Scholarship Scheme makes it the total of 19 undergraduates/beneficiaries under the scholarship scheme and the counts continues

Smart Ogbata Foundation has continued to uphold her motor "humanity first💕" by her concerted investment in human capital development in any little or great way she can

In marking her four years anniversary, Smart Ogbata Foundation also implored the principles of "charity begins at home" in October 2025 by empowering/supporting 3 single mothers in their small businesses, 1 from each autonomous community in Umuabi (Imeama Umuabi, Amaji Umuabi and Enugu Umuabi respectively)

The empowerment came in as prudent supports to help grow their already existing business and would be monitored over a period of six (6) months to one (1) year, afterwards their success and growth will determine subsequent funding from the foundation

The three (3) lucky beneficiaries includes Ike Chioma ,(Confectioneries ) from Imeama Umuabi... , Igwenagu Destiny Kaka (Confectioneries) from Amaji Umuabi..., and Udeh Ukamaka Kim (Shoe making) from Enugu Umuabi

They were all enjoined to passionately go about their businesses just like the``` *"parable of the master and the three talents"* ```as they shall be duly rewarded according to their attained growth/development in the nearest future

SMART OGBATA FOUNDATION HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

In line with the fundamentals/rudiments of Smart Ogbata Foundation [SOF] in giving back to God and the society, Smart Ogbata Foundation has rolled out yet another human capital development project tagged SMALL SCALE BUSINESS GRANT

This project is directly aimed at helping/supporting very few indigent single mothers that has an already running small scale business or a good business idea/plan to grow or start up their business with a little grant

In our tradition of "charity begins at home", Smart Ogbata Foundation [SOF] shall be rolling out this project starting from Umuabi Ezike, where we shall be selecting three [3] ladies, 1 from each autonomous community, after we extend the project to other communities and Enugu at large

REQUIREMENTS:
Participants of this native category must :*

• Be a verified indigene of Umuabi Ezike and member of Federated Umuabi Youth

• Present a good business plan/idea to be examined for possible decline or acknowledgement

• Present at least 2 youth executives as guarantors who shall closely monitor her business activities and report to SOF every two [2] months for the first one [1] year

NOTE!
Beneficiaries of this youth empowerment project are mandated to present an annual financial report of their business to ascertain due prudence and diligence in the business as well as their financial discipline thus far

This 14 years old boy, Ebenyi Chukwuemeka Samson, an indigene of Ezeilo in Ishielu LGA of Ebonyi state is always seen in the streets of Enugu displaying his entertaining masquerade activities with his brother just to earn a token to support himself.

One faithful day, luck and fate smiled on him as the chairman of Smart Ogbata Foundation [Prince Smart Ogbata] ran into him and jokingly engaged him in a conversation where the young boy who is in primary 6, and lives with his parents introduced himself as a living masquerade.

After some background checks on the young boy, the Chairman of SMART OGBATA FOUNDATION immediately picked interest in Chukwuemeka

The SMART TEAM paid Chukwuemeka's family a surprise visit to see and discuss with his parents, adopted him as his responsibility from now, enrolled him into SMART OGBATA SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME and assured to train him through secondary and University education or to put him through a lucrative skill/trade if he wishes not to continue after his secondary education, all these depends on Chukwuemeka's wish

It was indeed a positive and successful visit knowing that Smart Ogbata Foundation has once more toughed another life in the most valuable way

Congratulations to Ebenyi Chukwuemeka and God bless Smart Ogbata Foundation for always sustaining humanity through human capital development via education
