A Poem on the Prophetic Migration from Makkah to Madinah”
By: Ali Husain
With his migration, the nations shone,
And dawn of glory gathered grace.
The Messenger of God arose,
With patient heart that none could face.
He left behind both kin and land,
To raise the truth with noble pace.
And with him walked Abu Bakr, too,
In faith and blessings, side by side.
The cave they entered—what a scene!
Its tale brings light to every tide.
No fear could stop them on their path,
With patience firm, in God they’d bide.
Our Lord did guard them in the cave,
And hid their trace from every guide.
A spider wove its silken charm,
While doves above in peace did glide.
Their enemies passed by unseen,
While evil plans were swept aside.
They journeyed on to Yathrib's land,
With hearts so pure, in faith they’d ride.
The Aws and Khazraj filled with joy,
To see the Chosen, blest with pride.
The light of God then clearly spread,
Upon the earth once kept denied.
The mosque was built, the very first,
A tower of honor, deep and wide.
By Hijrah strong, our faith was firmed,
Its roots in sacrifice reside.
This noble Hijrah, bright and clear,
Is summit of all nations' stride.
By it, the Prophet rose in rank,
And faithful ones in peace abide.
His faithful friend with love stood firm,
They left the world for truth to guide.
With As-Siddiq we raise it high,
The lamps of light we now provide.
May God’s own prayers ever fall,
Like rain that shakes the darkest tide.
Upon Al-Mukhtar, our dear chief,
By him we live, with none beside.
