Celebrating 33 Years of Progress and Development in Jigawa State
Today, we mark a significant milestone in the history of our dear Jigawa State, as we celebrate 33 years of existence since its creation in 1991. This momentous occasion is a testament to the tireless efforts and dedication of our past and present leaders, civil servants and citizens who have worked collectively to build a prosperous and thriving State.
Over the past three decades, Jigawa State has witnessed tremendous growth and transformation, with each administration building on the successes of the previous one. From infrastructure development to economic empowerment, education, healthcare and social services, our state has made significant strides in improving the lives of its citizens.
We pay tribute to our past governors, both military and civilian, who have contributed their vision and leadership to the development of our state. We also salute our civil servants who have demonstrated unwavering commitment and sacrifice in serving the state.
As we celebrate this milestone, we acknowledge the progress made and look forward to a brighter future. We reaffirm our commitment to continued growth, peace, and prosperity in Jigawa State.

We wish to extend our sincerest apologies to the people of Jigawa State for our inability to organize the annual online discussion this year, as has been our tradition. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to host the event, and for that, we are truly sorry. We appreciate the support and participation of our citizens in previous years and look forward to resuming our initiatives in the future.
