The Buni Scholars Organization (BSO), representing the good people of Nguru, Machina, Karasuwa, and Yusufari Federal Constituency, has collectively expressed a strong and unified appeal, urging Dr. Kagu Abubakar to step forward and contest for the House of Representatives seat in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
The gathering commenced with opening prayers and a welcome address delivered by Malam Musa Muhammad Nura, Managing Director of El-Nur Properties. In his remarks, he prayed for unity, wisdom, and divine guidance as the constituency prepares to usher in a new phase of political leadership.
Hon. Arisco Nguru described the growing movement around Dr. Kagu as a formidable force poised to bring meaningful transformation across the constituency. He characterized Dr. Kagu as a man of proven integrity, steadfast dedication, and consistent reliability—qualities deemed essential in addressing the present needs of the people.
A major highlight of the occasion was the formal endorsement of Dr. Kagu Abubakar as the preferred candidate for the House of Representatives. This endorsement was led by the BSO President, Suleyman Gimbah Fantami (Solo), who described Dr. Kagu as a dependable leader, a pillar of strength, and a beacon of progress. He noted that Dr. Kagu’s track record of impactful leadership and meaningful contributions since 2019 clearly demonstrates his readiness to serve at a higher legislative capacity.
In further support of this position, the Head of Department, Mai Kasuwa, presented a comprehensive profile of Dr. Kagu, outlining his professional background, notable achievements, and forward-looking vision for the constituency.
During the Any Other Business (AOB) session, participants unanimously reaffirmed their support and emphasized the urgent need for credible, people-centered representation, as echoed by Abba Sahara Nguru.
In the closing remarks, Musa Adamu Yawale Ngu expressed profound appreciation to all dignitaries and participants in attendance, including Babagana Muhammad Shettima (BMS), Focal Person on Inter-Party Affairs, Alhaji Tanko, Malam Ibrahim Garba Nayaya, Usman Ari (Jagora), Abba Emir, and numerous other stakeholders. He called for sustained unity, strategic mobilization, and unwavering commitment as the movement continues to gain traction.
