International Day of Climate Action 🌍
On October 24th, the world unites to confront the greatest challenge of our time: the Climate Crisis.
At Centre for Renewable Energy and Action on Climate Change CREACC-NG, the day is not just a call for awareness, but a celebration of the action we are taking every single day in Nigerian communbelieve that Climate Action must be practical, equitable, and directly beneficial to those who need it most.
Our Action Focus:
âś… Affordable, Clean Energy (SDG 7): Deploying solar solutions to bring power to off-grid health centers, schools, and homes, replacing harmful fossil fuels.
âś… Climate Resilience: Implementing agroforestry and sustainable agriculture training to help farmers adapt to changing weather patterns and boost food security.
âś… Clean Water & Sanitation (SDG 6): Using solar technology to power boreholes, providing remote communities with clean, reliable water and improving health outcomes.
