🌱 What if every farm had its own green protection? 🌍

A simple idea came to mind: “One Farm, One Green Border”— a community climate initiative where farmers plant suitable trees around their farm boundaries.

These trees are not meant to take away farmland or harm farm inputs. With proper selection and spacing, they can support farming by reducing strong winds, protecting the soil, improving the environment, storing carbon, and providing extra benefits for farmers.

Trees like Faidherbia albida (Gawo), Neem, and Acacia species can help farms become more resilient while allowing farmers to continue producing food.

Imagine our communities with farms surrounded by green borders — protecting both our crops and our future. 🌳🌾
