JUMMA'A TA KARIYA DA ILIMI

A wannan ranar Jumu'a mai albarka, Garkuwa Humanitarian and Development Initiatives (GHDI) tana kira ga iyaye, malamai, shugabanni, matasa da daukacin al'umma da mu haɗa kai wajen kare yara da kuma tabbatar da cewa sun samu ingantaccen ilimi.

Yaro ba kawai amanar iyayensa ba ne, amana ce ga al'umma baki ɗaya. Duk lokacin da muka hana yaro ilimi ko muka yi shiru kan cin zarafinsa, muna raunana makomar al'ummarmu.

Mu tuna cewa Ilimi yana gina tunani.
1. Kariya tana kare rayuwa.
2. Haɗin kanmu yana gina al'umma mai ɗorewa.
A yau, ka ɗauki wannan alƙawari: Ka ƙarfafa yaro ya je makaranta. Ka kare yara daga cin zarafi da tashin hankali. Ka wayar da kan iyalai da maƙwabta. Ka zama muryar yaran da ba su da damar kare kansu.
Mu ba wa kowane yaro damar yin mafarki, koyo da rayuwa cikin aminci.

Domin yaran yau su ne shugabannin gobe.
Allah Ya sa mu kasance cikin waɗanda suke kare haƙƙin yara da yaɗa ilimi.

Programme Update | Successful Completion

Garkuwa Humanitarian and Development Initiative (GHDI) is pleased to announce the successful implementation of an educational support intervention for vulnerable families at our Head Office in Damaturu, Yobe State.

Through the generous contribution of Dr. Mukhtar Yerima, a total of ₦2,000,000 was disbursed, providing ₦200,000 each to 10 vulnerable parents to help strengthen their children's access to education and improve household resilience.

This initiative reflects the power of community partnership in addressing barriers to education and promoting sustainable development. We extend our sincere appreciation to our donor, partners, staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders for their commitment to making this intervention a success.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Commencement of Community Water Supply Project in Ngelzarma

7 July 2026

Garkuwa Humanitarian & Development Initiative (GHDI) notes the commencement of the construction of two ultra-deep solar-powered boreholes in Yabawa Ngelzarma and Anguwan Maimaje, Fune Local Government Area, Yobe State. The intervention is generously funded by Dr. Mukhtar Yerima, DVM, MSc. (Betara of Gujba Emirate), MD/CEO, GENEEDXX Nigeria Limited.

The project is designed to expand access to safe and reliable drinking water through the construction of two boreholes, each reaching a depth of 280–300 metres and equipped with an 80,000-litre solar-powered overhead storage system. Upon completion, the facilities will serve households, schools, healthcare facilities, and neighbouring communities.

Valued at ₦140 million, the project was surveyed and planned by YARHASO in collaboration with Ahmadinajad Integration Global Resources. GHDI has been entrusted with the supervision of the drilling works to ensure adherence to approved technical specifications and quality standards throughout implementation.

Access to clean water is fundamental to public health, education, protection, and sustainable community development. This intervention demonstrates the value of strategic partnerships and private-sector support in addressing critical community needs and improving the well-being of vulnerable populations.

GHDI appreciates the commitment demonstrated by Dr. Mukhtar Yerima and remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that expand access to essential services, strengthen community resilience, and advance sustainable development across Yobe State and Nigeria.
