Promoting inclusion and dignity for vulnerable populations
Forty persons with disabilities have received assistive devices to support mobility, independence, and improved quality of life in conflict-affected communities of Yobe State.
The beneficiaries included 16 women, 2 girls, 17 men, and 5 boys, who received mobility aids and other supportive equipment to enhance access to essential services and participation in social and economic activities.
The distribution was implemented by YOPCODI in consortium with Cocosohdi NNGO and Center For Child Care and Human Development - C3HD, with funding support from the United Nations OCHA Nigeria.
This intervention reinforces collective efforts to promote inclusion, dignity, and protection for vulnerable groups, ensuring that persons with disabilities are not left behind.
