Visiting Daudari, Lawan Ganari, Bulamari, and Tulo-Tulowa communities in Yobe State must have been an eye-opening experience, especially considering the desert landscape and scarce vegetation. Our efforts to engage with community members and understand their socio-economic activities and climate change concerns are truly commendable.
Yobe State is rich in mineral resources, including gypsum, kaolin, diatomite, limestone, trona, clay, silica sand, and salt . These resources present significant opportunities for economic development, particularly in the construction, agricultural, and industrial sectors.
Together we can change the system and make an impact on our people.

Land restoration is a key pillar of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030), a rallying call for the protection and revival of ecosystems all around the world, which is critical to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
