BRIEF HISTORY OF THE FOUNDER AND FINGERSMRK FOUNDATION
The founder and Country General Coordinator of this organization is Evangelist Tchr (Sir) Akan Bassey, FISAM. Mtr, hail from Ubodung, Urue Offong/Oruko Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State who spent his entire business life in Calabar, Cross River State. He was born in April 27, 1980 in Calabar. He is married to his wife, Gladys Akan Bassey who is a member of board of trustee of this foundation and their marriage is blessed with three kids, all females. He conceived the vision of establishing Fingersmark Foundation when he saw the jamboree and dribbling on grant colony. He offered himself to lead a cluster over 600 beneficiaries with trust, integrity and focus for Midwest City Community Improvement Grant (MCCIG) in Nigeria. While leading, the vision came, that, he should start an NGO to solve problems of unemployment in Nigeria by turning their mindset from government employment to self-employed. On April 27, 2022, the foundation start officially with representatives across the Nigeria; and this date mark the birth day of the founder, Evangelist Tchr. (Sir) Akan Bassey, FISAM.
