Ada Biase has travelled to at least eight countries of the world spread across Africa, Asia and Europe. In the course of her foreign travels, she has acquired remarkable exposure, an impressively extensive network of global friends and the unique education that comes from travelling far and wide. She is the President of Adonaneba Biase (a women organization), President of National Council of Women Society (Biase Chapter) and a member of Biase Women in Politics – platforms that she uses not only to mobilize support for her political interest, but also to help foster intercultural dialogue, understanding, unity and community development. Princess Ada is involved in a lot of philanthropic work which she deliberately keeps away from the public eye. She has a platform through which she takes care of widows and the aged. Through her foundation She also has scores of young persons in primary and secondary schools as well as in the university who are beneficiaries of her private scholarship scheme. Her life is defined by her generosity of spirit, her public service actuated by compassion. Hon Mrs Ada Charles is currently the first female Chairman of Biase Local Government Council, a feat that has since inspired other women to work towards shattering the glass ceilings of their respective careers.

The Ada Biase Foundation with a strategic move to partner with civil society organizations, and create the right awareness to the rural communities in sensitizing rural communities in Biase Local Government Area, Cross River State, on the impacts of mining and the opportunities available through the Energy Transition Plans. Have joined other Stakes holders in a one day meeting with the theme, SHAPING AN INCLUSIVE ENERGY TRANSITION IN THE NIGER DELTA REGION to discuss and also become a part of a communique aimed towards addressing challenges facing the energy Transition plans.

With the region being rich in natural resources, mining activities have long been a source of income, yet they have also led to environmental degradation, loss of arable land, and health challenges for the local population. It has therefore become imperative that these issues be addressed by fostering awareness and empowering communities to actively participate in the transition to cleaner energy sources.

Through its grassroots initiatives, Ada Biase Foundation aimed to engages community leaders, youth, and women in education campaigns that emphasize the importance of transitioning from traditional mining practices to sustainable energy alternatives. These sensitization programs will highlight the detrimental effects of unchecked mining, such as pollution, deforestation, and erosion, while introducing renewable energy solutions like solar, wind, and bioenergy as viable options for economic growth and environmental sustainability.
