North- West, Get Ready! 🎤

MPS Media is pleased to officially announce that the North-West Zonal Stages of the MPS Media Poetry Challenge 2026 – Arewa Edition will be taking place in Kaduna, sponsored by ZamCare Initiative and Co-Sponsored by ASAD Furniture and Lubricant.

Young poets from seven states across the North-West — Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara — will come together in Kaduna for a powerful celebration of poetry, creativity, culture and youth talent.

Empowering Refugee Women. Building Better Futures.

ZAMCARE Initiative has supported 266 refugee women in Bulunku, Tudun Wada, Gusau, providing them with startup capital and essential materials after completing vocational skills training.

From food processing to various small businesses, the initiative is helping these women become self-reliant, support their families, and build more sustainable livelihoods.

📅 July 3, 2026 – Launch of the Jumu’ah Humanitarian Program

ZAMCARE Initiative officially launched its Jumu’ah Humanitarian Program with its first outreach at Madarisatul Nurul Islam (Female Section), Bungudu LGA, where educational materials, Qur’ans, hijabs, water drums, prayer mats, and other essential items were distributed to support Islamic education and improve community welfare.

📅 July 13, 2026 – Renovation of Hizburahim School

ZAMCARE Initiative successfully completed the renovation and rehabilitation of Hizburahim School, Karal, Gusau, including the renovation of classrooms, installation of new doors and windows, repainting of the school, construction of a concrete floor, and the donation of Islamic learning materials and other essential items to create a better learning environment for students and teachers.

📅 July 19, 2026 – Third Jumu’ah Humanitarian Outreach

ZAMCARE Initiative carried out the third edition of its Jumu’ah Humanitarian Program at Madrasatul Fajarul Islam, Cocin Kwano, Gusau, providing humanitarian support and essential learning materials as part of its commitment to improving the welfare of Islamic schools and vulnerable communities.

📅 July 27, 2026 – Completion of the Community Hand Pump Borehole Project

ZAMCARE Initiative successfully completed its Community Hand Pump Borehole Project, delivering clean, safe, and sustainable water to five underserved communities—Tsunami, Bulunku, Unguwar Matawalle, Gidan Dutsi, and Saminaka—to improve public health, reduce waterborne diseases, and provide lasting access to clean water.

📅 July 29, 2026 – Weekly Humanitarian Outreach

ZAMCARE Initiative continued its Weekly Humanitarian Outreach with a visit to Madrasatul Nisā’i Li Ta’alimid Dini Wa Tarbiyatul Islamiyya, Gusau, where Islamic learning materials, ablution containers, and prayer mats were donated, while discussions were held with the school’s management to identify additional areas of support aimed at strengthening Islamic education and community development.

The Zamcare Initiative is proud to announce the successful completion of the Community Hand Pump Borehole Project, delivering clean, safe, and sustainable water to five underserved communities across Zamfara State.

This intervention will help reduce waterborne diseases, improve public health, ease the burden of water collection, and restore hope to thousands of residents.

From Tsunami to Bulunku, Unguwar Matawalle, Gidan Dutsi, and Saminaka, this project reflects our commitment to creating lasting impact through sustainable humanitarian initiatives.
