We are happy to announce to you that our little Golden is back home after days in the hospital receiving care.

We appreciate everyone who visited, sent prayers and warm wishes for her.

Your show of concern means so much to us as encouragement and an expression of the willingness to be a partner with us on this journey.

The welfare of every child there should be a collective concern for communities and societies especially when they are from disadvantaged backgrounds.

A little kindness will go a whole long way.

HEALTH SENSITIZATION AND AWARENESS IS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF OUR HEALTH MISSIONS.

In support of the global health campaign for the reduction of maternal mortalities, We have consistently devoted our resources towards programs targeted at reaching out to those in interior communities without access to hospitals or health education centers where they could get help.

According to the projections of the Nigerian State as conceived under the 2024 Maternal and Newborn Mortality Reduction Innovation Initiative, Maternal health is a right and the vision was to see that by the 2027 maternal mortality would at least be reduced by 30% while neonatal mortality by 20% all geared towards seeing that no woman dies while giving birth and no child is lost to preventable causes.

That’s where One World Charities Mission comes in to see how pregnant women in rural communities, traditional birth attendants who ignorantly but genuinely wish to help them can be given the awareness of what the concerns about their well being requires.

Share this helpful pregnancy insights with vulnerable pregnant women in your neighborhood or their caregivers.

We are available for partnerships and collaborations that will help us get to the reach of these helpless communities without health facilities and women continue suffer hardship on their pregnancy journey.

Realizing the set goal of reducing the high rate of maternal mortalities requires much more commitment and deliberate intentions.

As projected by the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Health during the launch of the Maternal and Neonatal Mortality Reduction Innovation and Initiative in November 2024.

One World Charities Mission Hospital and Pharmacy have in the thirteen (13) months of our sensitization and advocacy against maternal mortalities come across very sad situations where 89% of women in rural communities without functional healthcare facilities next to them rely heavily on Traditional Birth Attendants (TBA) who sometimes don’t have any understanding of how science and modern medicine can help improve and increase safer births and reduce complications during pregnancy that most time result to fatalities.

It was embracing the sector approach to solving these problems that informed our decision to train all traditional birth attendants in Ogoniland who currently act as help persons to these pregnant women in remote communities without access to care on the need to understand the dangers of recklessly handling pregnant women during pregnancy.free at no cost.

Every last Friday Women from all Ogoni communities who assist other women in communities with health difficulties usually honor the invitation to come and learn the health regulations and precautions on what you must not do as a traditional Birth attendants and when the duty of care becomes exclusively that of the certified and trained health professionals.

Share this opportunity to be educated and sensitized with a local Birth Attendants in your community today.

The program is free and vehicles are available to convey those who contact us and indicate interest to participate to and fro.
