African humanitarian initiative on widows, the aged and motherless under the acronym of AFHOWAM is a legally registered non profit, non political, non governmental , community based, social policy research , advocacy agency, charitable and welfare work set up to improve the social conditions of women especially widows, the elderly people,orphans and vulnerable children through protection of their

rights ,privileges, needs, opportunity and dignity. AFHOWAM is guided by believe that every life has equal right. Our ulterior motive is to reduce inequalities and improve lives of individuals particularly the helpless ones in our midst as they are not destined to be destitute of all compassions. AFHOWAM is today a striving institution in human society that is totally committed to keeping faith alive in the hearts of the hopeless
populace. Without this dynamic faith human race is doomed. Thus, we are contributing our own quota to empower humanity. UP AFHOWAM! .. we empower humanity!
