About Us:
Women for Development Initiative (WEDI) is a women-led, indigenous non-profit, non-political, and non-governmental organization committed to empowering women and young people. Through advocacy, capacity building, and community engagement, WEDI promotes policy reform, poverty reduction, gender equality, and improved health outcomes—contributing to inclusive and sustainable development.

We are currently seeking for a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer for the implementation of the Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) Project in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement M&E plans in line with project goals and donor requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and report data on project indicators, outcomes, and impact.
• Support data quality assurance processes and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Work closely with project staff and community stakeholders to strengthen data collection and utilization.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of M&E activities.
• Contribute to project reviews, learning sessions, and dissemination of findings.
Requirements:
• Minimum qualification: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in community-based or health-related projects.
• Proficiency in using digital data collection tools (e.g., KoboToolbox, ODK, CommCare) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of local health systems and community structures in Kebbi State is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting community health and development.
• Women and young people are strongly encouraged to apply.
