1. Parents should spend more time guiding and monitoring their children.

2. Schools should strengthen moral instruction, guidance and counseling services.

3. Religious organizations should intensify moral and character education

4. The government should crest employment opportunities and genuine youth empowerment programs

5. Community leaders should organize awareness campaigns against social vices.

6. Teenagers should be encouraged to participate in sports, vocational trainings and positive social activities.

7. Media organizations should promote programs that encourages good morals and responsible behavior.

IMPACT OF MORAL DECAY ON GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIETY, A CASE STUDY OF BIDA, NIGER STATE.

1. Poor Academic Performance: Teenagers involved in immoral activities often lose concentration on their studies, resulting in poor examination results and school dropouts.

2. Increase In Crime Rates: Moral decay contributes to higher rates of theft, kidnapping, cultism, drug abuse, cyber crime, and violence within the community.

3. Health Problems: Drug abuse, unsafe sexual practices and other risky behaviors exposes teenagers to addiction, sexually transmitted diseases, mental health issues and unwanted pregnancies that also leads to abortions and abandoned children on the roadside.

4. Breakdown Of Family Values: Immoral behaviors creates conflicts between parents and children , reducing trust and weakening family relationships.

5. Poor Character Development: Teenagers who engages in immoral acts often develop habits such as dishonesty, disrespect, laziness, and irresponsibility, which affects their future careers and relationships.

6. Slow Community Development: A society with increasing moral decay experiences insecurity, reduced productivity, unemployment, and slower economic and social development.

THE REALITY OF LIFE REGARDING OUR PARENTS

One day our parents will become our children. Not in age but in need.

There will come a time when they forget things you just told them. When they move slower, ask the same question twice, and need help with what used to be easy.

Don’t see it as burden
See it as debt of love being paid back

Call them more
Visit them more

Speak softer while you still can. Because one day the phone will stop ringing.

KINDNESS MATTERS

It is very truth that every person you meet is fighting a battle you can not see.

The woman smiling at the counter,
The man stuck in traffic,
The employee who sees distracted
The leader carrying pressure in silence

Life is heavy for everyone in different ways. This is why kindness matters.

Real strength is not shown when life is easy.
Real strength is choosing compassion when your own heart is tired.
It is choosing patience when you are under pressure, I mean immense pressure.
It is refusing to let pain turn you bitter.

Every single time I say this person can never change me, I would always be kind no matter what you do with my kindness.

So what I am trying to say is,
No matter what you are going through, no matter where you are, choosing kindness is always the best way out of whatever pressure you are in at the moment.

So it is important to always be kind to everyone you meet because you never know.

THE FUNCTION ATTENDANCE BY OUR ASSOCIATION

The chairman and the secretary of this association attended a community meeting yesterday the 2/06/2026 at Bida council secretariat where discussions were held with some alternative powers companies expressed their interest to construct a mini-solar grid here in Bida to enable the community enjoy uninterrupted power supply.

Deliberations were held and questions ask by different stakeholders and youths representatives present.

At the end the initiative was accepted by the council and the emirate. Very soon the project will commence.

We hope it won’t be another means of extortion like the current system. We were told that every user will have rechargeable meter and it reads as you use.
