What does a scholarship really look like, 13 years later?

It looks like Yahaya Abdullah Danjuma, From scholarship beneficiary to government officer. From a boy given a chance to a man making a difference.

This is what the Arise Education Scholarship Foundation exists to do.
Not just to pay school fees but to permanently alter the trajectory of a life. To be the bridge between a young person's present circumstances and their greatest possible future.

If you are an individual, organisation, or institution that believes Nigeria's future is worth investing in, we would love to have you stand with us.
Share this post, reach out to partner with us, or simply let Yahaya's story remind you that the right support at the right time can change everything.

There are more young Nigerians waiting for their moment. Help us find them.

Happy Children's Day!

Every child carries within them the seed of something extraordinary but seeds only grow where there is fertile ground. At Arise Education Scholarship Foundation, we exist to be that ground. Since 2007, we have been removing financial barriers and opening doors to quality secondary education for young Nigerians whose potential far exceeds their circumstances. Because we believe that no child's future should be determined by what their family cannot afford.

Today is a reminder of why this work cannot stop. There are still children waiting for their chance, talented, hungry, and full of promise. If you believe in the power of education to transform lives and strengthen communities, stand with us. Invest in a child. Change a future.

Impact stories like Winnifred’s remind us why education matters.

In 2009, Arise Education Scholarship Foundation gave her the opportunity to attend one of the top secondary schools in Edo state through a fully funded scholarship. Today, she is a healthcare professional and a passionate advocate mentoring young girls through her initiative.

This is the power of opportunity.

One scholarship can change the trajectory of a life and that life can go on to impact many others.

We have supported over 35 children and counting, and the journey continues.

At Arise Education Scholarship Foundation, we believe boys deserve guidance, education, support, and opportunities to grow into responsible, compassionate, and impactful men. Every boy child matters, every dream is valid, and every future is worth investing in.
This International Day of the Boy Child, AESF celebrates boys everywhere and reminds them that they are valued, capable, and created for greatness. Let us continue to raise boys with purpose, kindness, leadership, and integrity.

Happy International Day of the Boy Child from all of us at AESF. 💙

On Behalf of the Board, Parents and Beneficiaries of
Arise Education Scholarship Foundation

It is with profound sorrow that we mark the passing of our dear sponsor and cherished friend, Mrs. U. Osagiede, as she is laid to rest today.

Mrs. Urick was more than a sponsor, she was a pillar of this foundation. Her kindness was boundless, her generosity unwavering, and her devotion to the cause of education deep and sincere. She believed wholeheartedly in the power of opportunity, and through her support, countless young lives were given a chance to rise.

Her legacy will not be measured merely in donations, but in the futures she helped shape, in the students who will go on to achieve great things because she cared enough to invest in them.

To her family, loved ones, and all who mourn her passing, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. We stand with you in grief, and we honour her memory with gratitude.

Mrs. Urick Osagiede will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
