Happy birthday to an incredible staff of Lilbeckkng Development Foundation “LIBEDEF”! 🎉🎂

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to celebrate the special day of our beloved “Lucy Obabueki the Admin Officer of LIBEDEF”. We thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in her lungs, and for the joy she bring to our organization.

On this special day, we pray that You bless her abundantly. May Your favor be upon her, and may Your goodness surround her and her family always. May their heart be filled with joy, their spirit be lifted, and their soul be at peace.

The 2nd day of the LIBEDEF Retreat features another eye opening session for staff and board of the organization.

It featured a very interesting and informative session on “Building Organizational Communication” by Elvira Jordan where she highlighted steps to establish effective communication, to amplify the organization’s activities, goals and objectives.

The second session was about “Organizational Sustainability” and it was taken by Uzoma Kelechi. She analyzed critical parts of organizational set up. it was more of an interactive session where questions where asked and answers were given and this enabled staff and board members learn a lot about long term sustainability of the organization and how best to carry out thier various role better for the growth and success of the organization

Another eye opening session on “Monitoring and Evaluation” was presented by Josiah Egblika who went about exposed some key aspects of learning through monitoring and evaluation. He also highlighted some mistakes done by some organizations and how to handle them effectively.

There was time for staff and board members to individually evaluate on the whole process and activities done throughout the retreat..It was nice to see that both staff and board members had a lot of take home to go and apply into thier various roles in the organization

There was a group photo to round up the event and the CEO of Lilbeckking Development Foundation (LIBEDEF) Mr Beckley IRUMUDOMON brought it all to a conclusion with a closing prayer

It was a massive success and all Glory be to God

Lilbeckking Development Foundation (LIBEDEF) strength and capacity building retreat for staff and board 2025

LIBEDEF held a 2-days capacity building retreat, educating and training its staff and board on key knowledge areas that facilitate personal and organizational growth.

This retreat was a bonding experience for the participants,, learning the organization’s vision, sharpening their purpose and motives, to key into the goals of the organization.

It was indeed a time to reflect on past and present activities of the organization, strategizing on areas of growth,sustainability and the success of the organization

Day 1 of the retreat featured a lecture on Organizational Development by Cynthia Bulubiere Bright and another session on Mindset by the Executive Director of LIBEDEF, Destiny Aigbokhae.

The lessons learnt were practical, gearing towards a bright future for organizations
