FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTED ON THE COLLAPSING OF EDUCATIONAL SECTOR IN NIGERIA
It has been said that, understanding the problem is part of the solution. This is indeed true, and also undeniable fact. If you didn't understand the causes, root, nature, power and consequences of the problem, it's harder to find a lasting solution to the problem.
That's why, i decided to discuss briefly on the problems of education sector in our mother's land.
If the society is getting backward and proceeding to failure, the blame is primarily directly or indirectly is going to that society's leaders, why?!! Because leaders are the ones primarily with the task and burden to find out a lasting solution to their followers, they are to lead by example, they supposed to work diligently, harder, smarter and also day in and day out purposely to uplift their followers, to protect them, guide them, and to make their life better.
The governments less effort on education lead to the downgrading of the system.
The government too, are not the only one to be blamed, but there are sometimes huge contributions of community, parents and teachers.
That's the pillar reason, i decided to categorized them into four (4) categories or items, to make them easier for discussion, they are as mentioned above;
(1)Government problems.
(2)Community problems.
(3)Teachers problems. And
(4)Parents problems.
Those four (4) categories, each contribution is paramount on the downgrading and collapsing of educational sector in Nigeria.
In my next writing, i will elaborate and discuss on the 'Governments problems.'
Then, in the writings to follow after, the remaining items/categories will be discussed and elaborated, in order to study the problems and find their solution.
