Strengthening Partnerships for Inclusive Education in Bauchi State

CSACEFA Bauchi State Chapter paid advocacy visit to the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Agency for Mass Education (BASAME) to reinforce collaboration towards improving literacy, adult education, and non-formal education across the state.

The engagement provided an opportunity to share CSACEFA's contributions to the education sector, discuss BASAME's priorities and challenges, and advocate for stronger collaboration, improved budget implementation, and sustained stakeholder engagement. We also encouraged greater participation of BASAME's technical departments in education sector budget performance reviews to enhance transparency and accountability.

We commend the Executive Secretary for his openness, commitment, and willingness to deepen collaboration through a proposed follow-up technical meeting involving the Agency's Directors and Heads of Departments.

Together, we can expand access to quality learning opportunities and ensure that no child, youth, woman, or adult learner is left behind.
