International Widows’ Day 2026: Standing With Widows, Amplifying Their Voices
Ubuntu Sisters for All Foundation, in collaboration with Alheri-Ys Foundation and Vicjones Care Foundation, successfully commemorated International Widows’ Day 2026 under the theme:
“Invisible Women, Invisible Problems.”
The programme provided a meaningful platform to recognise the strength, courage and resilience of widows while drawing attention to the social, emotional and economic challenges many of them face silently.
It was a day of solidarity, encouragement, reflection and renewed commitment to ensuring that widows are seen, heard, respected and supported. Every widow deserves dignity, equal opportunities, protection and the chance to rebuild her life without discrimination or exclusion.

Your presence and commitment demonstrated what can be achieved when compassionate organisations unite for a common humanitarian purpose.
