NOTICE OF CHANNEL DELETION
Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
This is to officially inform the public that the YouTube channel dedicated to the lectures of Sheikh Dr. Idris Abdul’aziz Dutsen Tanshi (Rahimahullah) may be permanently deleted within the next few hours.
The purpose of creating thie channel https://youtube.com/.idrisabdulazizrahimahullah was to preserve and compile the valuable lectures and teachings of the Sheikh from different platforms during his lifetime, including:
- Dutsen Tanshi Majlis
- Isha FM
- Qibla FM
- Rigasa TV
By the permission of Allah, we successfully compiled more than 1,300 lectures on this channel so that students of knowledge and the Muslim Ummah could continue benefiting from the Sheikh’s knowledge and reminders.
However, on the 7th of this month, we received 57 copyright strikes from Mr. Fu’ad Umar of Qibla FM. Under the authority and leadership of Dutsen Tanshi Majlis, we made several attempts through all available means to contact Mr. Fu’ad Umar in order to resolve the issue amicably, but unfortunately, we received no response from him.
According to YouTube policy, if copyright issues are not resolved within 7 days, the affected channel may be permanently deleted.
What pains us most is that we even proposed that once the strikes were retracted, we would immediately remove all programs and lectures recorded from Qibla FM. Despite this, the strikes were not withdrawn.
We did not understand the logic behind allowing 57 videos alone to become the reason for the possible loss of an entire archive containing more than 1,300 lectures of Sheikh Idris Abdul’aziz (Rahimahullah), especially considering the audience, visibility, and recognition the Sheikh brought to his platform during his lifetime. Nevertheless, we leave all matters to Allah.
In Sha Allah, we will continue to do everything necessary to preserve the remaining lectures of the Sheikh and guide the public on where they can continue accessing his teachings after the deletion of the channel.
We sincerely apologize to all followers, students, and lovers of the Sheikh for this unfortunate development.
