Breastfed children grow into a healthier, smarter workforce, building a stronger Nigeria.

Today, FAcE-PaM proudly joined the Civil Society Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN), Bauchi State Chapter, alongside government officials, development partners, and other stakeholders in an advocacy walk to commemorate "World Breastfeeding Week 2026".

The awareness walk, which commenced at the Bauchi State Ministry of Health and concluded at the Government House, highlighted the importance of breastfeeding in ensuring the health, survival, and development of every child.

As an organization committed to improving maternal, newborn, and child health, FAcE-PaM remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that promote optimal breastfeeding practices, strengthen community awareness, and advocate for policies that create an enabling environment for every mother to breastfeed successfully.

Together, we can build healthier families and a healthier future through breastfeeding.

Only 29% of babies in Nigeria are exclusively breastfed. 43% are given breastmilk plus water. Let’s close the gap. (NDHS 2024)
Breastmilk alone meets 100% of your baby’s nutrition and hydration needs for the first 6 months.
Choose breastmilk only for the first 6 months.
