DAY TWO: FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE AT ATBU FARM!

Day Two of the Al-Muhibbah Foundation (AMF) ToT Training under the Soil Value Project moved from classroom learning to hands-on practical sessions at the ATBU Farm, Bauchi.

The training is equipping lead farmers and extension agents with practical knowledge on innovative and sustainable agricultural technologies, including Zai Pit, Soil Amendments, Biostimulants, Plant Nursery Management, and Entrepreneurial Skills.

👩‍🌾👨‍🌾 Participants had the opportunity to observe, practice, ask questions, and learn directly from field demonstrations—strengthening their confidence to replicate these innovations and train farmers within their communities.

Al-Muhibbah Foundation (AMF), in collaboration with the Soil Value Project, is currently conducting an intensive Training of Trainers (ToT) for Lead Farmers and Extension Agents.

The training focuses on four transformative agricultural innovations:

🌱 Zai Pits – for water harvesting, moisture conservation and improved crop productivity.

🌿 Soil Amendments – to improve soil fertility, structure and overall soil health.

🌾 Biostimulants – to enhance plant growth, crop strength and productivity through sustainable solutions.

🌱 Plant Nursery Management – covering nursery establishment, seedling production, management and successful transplanting.

💼 Entrepreneurial Skills – equipping farmers with the knowledge to turn agricultural innovations into sustainable businesses and livelihood opportunities.

👨‍🌾 Building Farmers, Strengthening Communities

The training is designed to equip Lead Farmers and Extension Agents with practical, hands-on knowledge that they can cascade to farmers in their respective communities.

This initiative goes beyond training—it is about building capacity, restoring soil health, promoting climate-smart agriculture, improving productivity and creating sustainable economic opportunities for farming communities.

🌱 SOIL VALUES PROGRAMME (SPV): 3-DAY TRAINING OF TRAINERS KICKS OFF TODAY! 🌍

The Soil Values Programme (SPV) has commenced a transformative 3-Day Training of Trainers (ToT) designed to strengthen the technical capacity of youth-led farmers and extension agents on practical soil-health innovations and sustainable agricultural practices.

The training focuses on four key innovations that can help farmers improve soil health, productivity and resilience:

🌱 Zai (Planting Pits) – improving water harvesting, soil moisture and crop establishment.
🧪 Biostimulants – enhancing plant growth, nutrient efficiency and crop performance.
♻️ Organic Amendments – improving soil fertility, structure and long-term soil health.
🌿 Plant Nursery Management – promoting quality seedling production and sustainable tree/crop establishment.

🕌 A New House of Worship for Kafin Radi Community

Al-Muhibbah Foundation (AMF) has once again demonstrated its commitment to community development and support for grassroots initiatives by contributing to the completion of the community mosque in Kafin Radi, Badara Ward, Kirfi Local Government Area, Bauchi State.

The mosque project was initiated by the hardworking members of the Kafin Radi community and had reached the roofing stage. Recognizing the importance of the project to the spiritual and social life of the community, the community members sought the intervention of AMF.

In response, Al-Muhibbah Foundation supported the completion of the mosque through the provision of essential materials, including roofing zinc, plastering materials, paint, tiles, and carpets, helping transform the community’s long-standing dream into a completed place of worship.

✨ Today, Friday, 14 August 2026, marks a historic and memorable day for Kafin Radi, as the mosque hosted its first Jumu’ah prayer, officially marking the grand opening of the Masjid.

The occasion brought joy, gratitude, and a strong sense of community among residents, who expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Al-Muhibbah Foundation for its kind gesture and continued commitment to supporting community-driven development initiatives.

Through interventions like this, AMF continues to demonstrate that community development is not only about infrastructure, but also about supporting the aspirations, dignity, faith, and collective wellbeing of communities.

May Allah accept this mosque as a Sadaqah Jariyah for everyone who contributed to its construction and completion, reward the community members for their dedication, and bless Al-Muhibbah Foundation for its continued service to humanity.

👁️ AMF EYE HEALTH OUTREACH: SURGERIES HAVE COMMENCED! 🏥✨

Today, 9th August 2026, Al-Muhibbah Foundation (AMF), in collaboration with Albasar International Organisation, successfully commenced the cataract eye surgeries for 100 confirmed beneficiaries identified during the ongoing eye health outreach.

This is another significant step towards restoring clear vision, dignity, confidence and hope to people living with cataract and other eye-related conditions. ❤️

Following the successful screening, medical examinations and laboratory tests, the confirmed beneficiaries are now receiving the surgical intervention they need—helping them regain their sight and return to their daily activities with renewed confidence.

📅 Tomorrow, 10th August 2026, the remaining confirmed beneficiaries will undergo their scheduled surgeries as the intervention continues.

At AMF, we believe that good health is a right, not a privilege. Through strategic partnerships such as this, we remain committed to reaching vulnerable communities and making quality healthcare accessible to those who need it most.

👁️💙 AL-MUHIBBAH FOUNDATION HEALTH OUTREACH CONTINUES! 🏥✨

Today, 8th August 2026, Al-Muhibbah Foundation (AMF), in collaboration with Albasar International Foundation, continued its impactful eye health outreach at Mecca Eye Specialist Hospital, Kobi, Bauchi.

Following the initial screening exercise, 100 beneficiaries with confirmed surgical cases were brought forward today for further medical screening, laboratory investigations and pre-surgery assessments to ensure they are medically ready for the next stage of treatment.

🧪 Comprehensive laboratory tests were conducted, and after the successful completion of the required assessments, individual case files were opened for all confirmed beneficiaries to facilitate proper documentation, follow-up and continuity of care.

❤️ And tomorrow, 9th August 2026, the journey to restored vision reaches its most important stage!

The confirmed beneficiaries are scheduled to undergo cataract surgery, giving them the opportunity to regain clearer vision and improve their quality of life.

👁️ Day Two of the Al-Muhibbah Foundation Eye Health Outreach! 👁️

In collaboration with Albasar International Foundation, the Day Two of our free eye health outreach has recorded another remarkable success.

More than 500 beneficiaries have been screened for various eye conditions. Many have already received free medications and prescription eyeglasses, while 100 beneficiaries have been confirmed for free cataract surgery.

The surgeries are scheduled to commence tomorrow, Saturday, 8th August 2026, at mecca eye specilist ,Kobi street,Bauchi.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to restoring sight, improving lives, and ensuring that quality eye care reaches those who need it most.

👁️ Restoring Sight, Renewing Hope!

Al-Muhibbah Foundation, in collaboration with Albasar International Organisation, has commenced a comprehensive Eye Health Outreach aimed at improving access to quality eye care for vulnerable communities.

The outreach targets the screening of over 500 beneficiaries, with free eye examinations, medications, prescription eyeglasses, and cataract surgeries for eligible patients. Each cataract surgery, valued at approximately ₦150,000, is being provided free of charge, giving beneficiaries the opportunity to regain their sight and improve their quality of life.

This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring that preventable blindness does not stand in the way of healthy, productive, and dignified lives.
