FROM THE DESK OF HON. CORNELIUS AKINYELE: A CALL FOR CALM.

Following the volatile conversations originating from this group and gradually spreading to other social media yesterday, I have deemed it necessary to call on all my supporters and fans and to address this group (consisting of very respected elders, party leaders, royal fathers, other eminent stakeholders and the good people of our LCDA) and the generality of Olorunda, by extension.

I want enjoin all my supporters and fans to remain calm no matter the perceived provocation and incitement from whatever quarters. I believe in peace, nobility of character and friendliness among other virtues and I want to appeal to you, whose interest and mandate I am aspiring to officially represent to please exhibit this same virtues. My belief is that it is with such mindset and disposition that we can be and give the best irrespective of our differing political leanings.

Again, I appeal to all parties to let your swords remain in the sheath - for we are brothers, friends and members of the same party. Our efforts in getting Olorunda to the next enviable height should be collaborative and not competitive.

It is on this note that I want to wish everyone of us (my supporters, fans and soon-to-be fans🤗) a jubilant July full of joy and all other good things that you desire.
