*OFFICIAL DECLARATION OF RESULT – NABWES 10TH EXECUTIVE ELECTION*

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) of the National Association of Badagry West Students (NABWES), under the leadership of the 10th IEC (The Veritas Team), hereby officially announces the result of the Presidential election conducted for the 10th NABWES Executive Council.
Following the conclusion of the electoral process and the counting of all valid votes, the results are as follows:
Presidential Position
Awuyon Prosper Gbeyon – 66 Votes
Inuwah Omolayo Oriola – 26 Votes
By virtue of this result, Awuyon Prosper Gbeyon having secured the highest number of valid votes cast, is hereby declared the duly elected President of the National Association of Badagry West Students (NABWES).

The Commission appreciates all candidates, stakeholders, and members of NABWES who participated in ensuring a peaceful, credible, and successful electoral process.

Notice: Other executive positions had no opposing candidates.
We encourage all members to remain united and continue working together for the progress and development of NABWES and the entire Badagry West student community.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BADAGRY WEST STUDENTS (NABWS)
ON THE OCCASION OF ELECTION DAY

Good day to all distinguished members of the National Association of Badagry West Students, respected leaders, aspirants, and the entire Badagry West student community.

Today marks a very important moment in the history of our great association as we gather to exercise our democratic right by electing new leaders who will pilot the affairs of our organization. Elections are a symbol of unity, responsibility, and the collective voice of the students.

As the President of this noble association, I encourage every member to participate peacefully, responsibly, and with a spirit of fairness. Let us remember that leadership is about service, dedication, and commitment to the progress of all students in Badagry West.

To all aspirants, I commend your courage and willingness to serve. Leadership is not just about winning an election but about contributing positively to the growth of our association. I urge you to maintain respect, maturity, and sportsmanship throughout this process.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
LIFT OF BAN ON CAMPAIGNS

In line with the provisions of the National Association of Badagry West Students’ Union Electoral Act, and in accordance with the powers vested in the Independent Electoral Committee (IEC), the 10th NABWES IEC hereby announces the official lift of ban on all campaign activities.

This decision is taken to ensure fairness, transparency, and active participation in the ongoing electoral process. All aspirants are hereby permitted to commence their campaigns accordingly.

Aspirants are, however, reminded that all campaign activities must strictly conform to the provisions of the NABWES Constitution and the 2026 Electoral Guidelines. Any act contrary to these regulations shall attract appropriate sanctions.

The Independent Electoral Committee remains committed to conducting a free, fair, and credible election that reflects the will of the students.

We urge all aspirants and stakeholders to maintain decorum, mutual respect, and peaceful conduct throughout the campaign period.
