Uyiosa Orphanage and Widows Ministry We take care of orphans and widows, also reaching out to the physically challenged.

This organisation, was inspired when a cousin of mine died and none of the family members agreed to take care of the two weeks old baby girl she unfortunately left behind.As a teenager, i had many responsibilities but i decided to take care of this baby and i was unaware that with this innocent action the birth of uyiosa orphanage and widows ministry will come years later.

God is faithful. I want to thank God and the Doctor and staff of Oriafo orthopedic hospital for the treatment one of my sons received. My son C has sickle cell disease. This ulcers started more than a year ago.Different treatment were done to no avail. I finally asked a professional colleague when the wound was getting worse who now referred him to Oraifo hospital. Well the rest is history. Thank God.

M was adopted by a missionary couple 20 years ago, when he was just 2 years old. He was brought to Brownwood, Texas, USA. Despite the distance, I stayed connected—I would drive eight hours just to see him. For a long time, everything seemed fine.
Then, slowly, things began to fall apart.
His dad went to jail. Reports from his mom became confusing and inconsistent. I was told M had a severe meltdown and was hospitalized. Not long after, she placed him in foster care. I pleaded with her to let me take him in, but she refused. From that moment, communication stopped. Occasionally, she would reach out, but there was no real connection, no answers—just silence.
Years passed.Mom took a different path.
Then, in 2025, something changed. M reached out to me himself. Last weekend, he came to see me, and we spent three meaningful days together. It was a beautiful reunion—full of conversations, memories, and healing moments I had waited years for.
I am grateful to be back in his life, and I truly hope to remain a part of his journey from now on. This is not the end of the story—it’s a new beginning. I will continue to share his journey as the days go by.
