Let me blessed your eyes with this picture of Our special invited guests (though not very well clear).

Khadi Sani Musa (Shariah Court of Appeal Bauchi State), our boss Dr. M.A Bila, Esq (Chairman NBA Katagum Branch), the representative of Anchsuko Global Nig. APPRECIATION MESSAGE

Alhamdulillah, the 2025 KALAWSA first ever Dinner and Award was indeed a success.

My special thanks to Barr. D. M. Umar for his wonderful and powerful presentation. It was indeed education and insightful. We are forever grateful.

I must sincerely thank our father and a mentor, Dr. M. A. Bila, Esq., the Chairman, NBA Katagum Branch, for his endless support, encouragement, and advice from the beginning down to the epilogue of this groundbreaking Week. We really appreciate it.

Moreover I extend my special thanks to the entirety of the NBA Katagum Branch, more particularly the Branch Young Lawyers’ Forum, including but not limited to Barr. I. A. Umar, Barr. M. T. Bello, Barr. M. A. Inyass, Barr. S. U. Gadiya, Barr. Hadiza Adamu, Barr. Mukhtar Muhammad, Barr. Sadiq Magaji, etc. We really appreciate your undying support, contribution, and encouragement throughout the conduct of all the programs. Your sacrifice and financial support mean a lot to us. Indeed, you are the pillar behind the success of the program.

My special appreciation to Barr. A.A. Makanike for his commitment, dedication, and immense contribution toward the success of this historic event. Your efforts did not go unnoticed, and we remain grateful.

This is to formally notify the general public, all members of the association, and our esteemed invited guests that the information currently circulating on social media regarding the alleged postponement of the KALAWSA Dinner and Award Ceremony is false, misleading, and does not emanate from the Executive Council.

We wish to categorically state that no decision or resolution has been taken by the Executive Council to postpone the event. The KALAWSA Dinner and Award Ceremony remains fully scheduled to hold as planned on Wednesday, 31st December, 2025.

Members of the public are therefore strongly advised to disregard and ignore any contrary information from unofficial sources. The Executive Council is fully committed and actively engaged in final preparations to ensure the smooth, successful, and memorable conduct of the Dinner and Award Ceremony on the scheduled date.

APPRECIATION MESSAGE

On behalf of the entire Bauchi Law Students Association of Nigeria (BALAWSAN), I wish to express our profound gratitude and sincere appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, for the kind approval and release of scholarship funds to over 70 Bauchi State indigene students of the Nigerian Law School (NLS).

Each beneficiary received the sum of ₦500,000 for registration and an additional ₦250,000 for the purchase of a computer laptop, making a total of ₦750,000 per beneficiary. Notably, under my leadership as the President of BALAWSAN, all beneficiaries received their funds directly into their respective bank accounts, ensuring transparency and accountability.

This landmark intervention stands as the first of its kind in the history of Bauchi State NLS scholarship, both in terms of the number of beneficiaries and the unprecedented amount disbursed per student. This noble gesture has greatly eased the financial burden on our students and strengthened their pursuit of excellence in the legal profession.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Bauchi State, for his immense support, commitment, and invaluable contribution toward the successful completion of this process.

Once again, we congratulate all the beneficiaries and pray that Almighty Allah rewards His Excellency and all those involved abundantly, grants them wisdom, strength, and continued success in service to Bauchi State.

Thank you, Your Excellency, for investing in the future of Bauchi State through education.
