Today, July 31, we at Comareg Hcf join the world to celebrate the power, resilience, and leadership of African women across the continent and the diaspora.
On this day in 1962, visionary women gathered in Dar es Salaam and founded the Pan-African Women’s Organisation (PAWO) — a full year before the Organisation of African Unity. They understood then what remains true now: the liberation of Africa and the liberation of women are inseparable.
This year’s the theme is: “Women’s Action for Safe Sanitation, Peaceful Communities and Better Livelihoods”. It reminds us that dignity starts with the very basics: safe water, clean sanitation, peace in our homes and communities, and real economic opportunities for everyone.
African women have always been architects of change, builders of nations, and champions of justice. From the liberation struggles to today’s entrepreneurs, activists, mothers, leaders, and innovators — you continue to shape our future.
To every African woman and woman of African descent:
We see you. We honour you. We stand with you.
Here’s to stronger communities, greater justice, and a future where every woman thrives.

The International Day of Friendship was first observed on 30 July, 2011. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2011 to promote friendship among peoples, countries, cultures, and individuals as a way of building bridges between communities and encouraging peace.
The idea recognizes that friendship can inspire understanding, solidarity, and reconciliation, especially across differences in culture, nationality, religion, and background.
It with this that Comareg Hcf today joins the world over to celebrate the International Day of Friendship. We celebrate every friend of Comareg, oir well wishers and everyone who has stood with us and those who would stand with us in the future. Cheers to building many more healthy friendships.

Today, Comareg Healthcare Foundation joins the world to celebrate the International Day for Women and Girls of African Descent—a day to honour the strength, resilience, leadership, and achievements of African women and girls across the world.
It is also a reminder that many still face barriers such as discrimination, inequality, and limited access to opportunities. Together as a nation, community, state, we must continue to advocate for inclusion, equal rights, quality education, and leadership opportunities that empower every woman and girl to reach her full potential.
When African women and girls thrive, our communities, nations, and the world become stronger.

No girl, boy, man or woman deserves to be graped. It's the height of evil and wickedness. Dear parents teach your children and wards that No means No, and that a child below the age of 18 cannot give consent.
Dear Men tame that thing you have between your legs. Nobody should be defiled because they reached out to you in their vulnerable state.
Dear women, please do not objectify any boy or girl around you.
