AKPOAZAA FOUNDATION hereby provides an official update on the ongoing sponsorship of 100 candidates for the 2026 examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.

*✅ Progress So Far*

- Over 200 applications received.

- Full personal data collected.

- O’level results verified (No awaiting results permitted).

- Registration status sorting conducted.

- Final 6-hour verification exercise completed.

This initiative is being handled with *strict accountability* to ensure that only genuine candidates benefit.

⚠️ *Challenges Encountered*

During the verification process, the Foundation identified:

- Cases of impersonation attempts

- Multiple submissions by the same individuals

- Inconsistent registration claims

- Delays in status confirmation by some applicants

These issues required additional screening measures, which slightly delayed final processing. However, these measures were necessary to protect the integrity of the program and ensure transparency.

*AKPOAZAA FOUNDATION* will not tolerate manipulation of a scholarship-driven initiative.

To enable eligible candidates beat the *JAMB deadline:*

- *Payment for candidates who have NOT yet registered will be done today, February 25, 2026.*

*Refund processing* for candidates who have already registered will commence afterward, following due verification and screening of submitted registration slips.

In December 2025, *15 elderly women (65 years and above)* from Ubahuagboba Ubahu, Okija were inducted into the *AKPOAZAA Foundation Monthly Salary Scheme.*

On *January 31, 2026,* the first monthly payment was successfully made and *second payment* .will be by the end of this month.

*More women* and *10 elderly men (65+)* will soon be inducted.

AKPOAZAA FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED #500,000 ENDOWMENT FOR BEST GRADUATES AT CHUKWUEMEKA ODUMEGWU OJUKWU UNIVERSITY

- Donates 500 - Capacity Tent for Convocation

Yesterday, February 11, 2026, I, Dr. Frank Igbojindu, GMD Akpoazaa Group and Founder Akpoazaa Foundation paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, (COOU), Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Anambra State, Prof. Kate Omenugha.

During the visit, I formally established a ₦500,000 Annual Endowment Fund through Akpoazaa Foundation to reward academic excellence in the institution.

The fund will be shared as follows:
✔ ₦250,000 – Overall Best Graduating Student
✔ ₦150,000 – Best Graduating Student, Faculty of Management Sciences
✔ ₦100,000 – Best Graduating Student, Department of Accountancy

I also donated a 500-capacity tent through Akpoazaa Event Planners to support their forthcoming convocation ceremony.

I decided to replicate at COOU what I already established at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK). When an initiative is working and encouraging excellence, it deserves expansion.

As a proud son of Okija, this is my modest contribution to Anambra State and to the future of our young people.

Yesterday February 9, 2026, I, Dr. Frank Igbojindu, Group Managing Director of Akpoazaa Group, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Bond Stanley Anyaehie, to formally renew the Akpoazaa Foundation ₦500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira) Endowment Fund for the Best Graduating Students of the University ahead of the 2026 Convocation Ceremony.

This initiative, which was launched in 2025, has now become an annual event, deliberately designed to encourage academic excellence, healthy competition, and outstanding performance among students of the University.

In addition, I also donated a 500-capacity event tent through Akpoazaa Event Planners to support the University’s coming convocation activities, as part of my continuous commitment to supporting the growth and success of the institution.

This intervention remains my humble way of giving back to the great institution that shaped my academic journey—from Diploma through Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate degrees, and of investing in the future leaders being nurtured within its walls.
