ANAMBRA STATE COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (ANCSDA)
INAUGURATES FUNDING PARTNERSHIPS COMMITTEE.
Anambra State Community and Social Development Agency inaugurated her first Funding Partnership Committee on the 8th of July 2022.
The inaugural ceremony which kicked off with the General Manager/CEO, Mr Chudi Mojekwu presenting an inaugural speech stands as the first since the inception of the SA.
The members of the committee inaugurated were; Mrs Uche Nwaizugbo Manager Basic Services/ Chairman of the Committee, Onuorah Anthony Obiorah Public Relations Officer/ Secretary/Member, Mr Ikechukwu Anofochi, Project Officer ESS/OHS, member; Mrs Stella Amuche, Project Internal Auditor,member; Francis Muonekwu, Operations Officer,member; Classy Okezieorji, Secretary to the General Manager, member; Uche Egbunike, Project Officer Monitoring and Evaluation, member.
The GM in ensuring a statutory alignment to Part V, Section 12 (1) of ANCSDA law, which states that the fund of the Agency shall consist of besides the credit or grant by Federal Government of Nigeria and Contribution by the State Government; all other such monies as may be granted to the Agency by any other Body, Agency or Individuals; emphasized the need for members of the Committee to think out of the box and source for funds and partnerships. He assured the committee members of his continuous support as at when necessary.
The Committee was constituted with the following Terms of Reference:
1. To identify other sources other than Anambra State Government, for funding the Agency's operations towards achievement of her mandate.
2. To follow-up in conjunctions with the GM such identified sources with appropriate proposals and correspondences geared towards achieving a funding partnership.
3. The Committee shall work closely with the General Manager and shall report to him as often as possible.
4. Any other duties assigned by the General Manager.
The Manager Basic Services, Mrs Uche Nwaizugbo who was also inaugurated as the chairman of the Committee, remarked that the team is saddled with resources mobilization task and assured that potential partnership opportunities will be explored effectively.
The event came to a close with the committee reassuring of their readiness to swing into action.
