ry (about 1450 AD) to a man named Uka by his only wife Esohe. Esohe, was then popularly known as Eso, a name which has been corrupted to Etso. Uka was among the leading Blacksmith inner caucus of the then Benin Empire that produced Military and Farm Equipment for the then Benin Empire. Uneme as the first born to Uka and Esohe who naturally followed his father's footsteps by learning the Art and Science of Metal Technology, melting and turning stones into usable implements. This is a clarion call to all Uneme born descent, that the time is now we all must come together as one with a great voice, ONE VOICE that will uphold our history and heritage and to have a better place for our children and our future.. Uneme history, culture and that great gift of technology must not be a forgotten history. Need be, we need to have our history in the Library shelves all over the world for our children and people to read and know where we are coming from (root of origin). Great Uneme People, my own people, no one will write our history for us if we neglect that so much a great history. we should never allow, nor let that push which separated us into different locations but in single geographical terrain if you truly check it.. We should never allow that separates us from our minds and our believes, we must all come together and reconnect, reconnect and bond that broken chain.
