Today, March 8, 2026 is International Women's Day. A day used to present cases about women across the Globe. This year's theme is *"Give to Gain"*, emphasizing the idea that empowering women benefits everyone.

While the United Nations' sub-theme is *"Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls"*, it focuses on dismantling barriers to equal rights and justice for women and girls worldwide. The UN message highlights that women still hold only 64% of the legal rights that men do globally, and calls for action to address discriminatory laws, weak legal protections, and harmful practices.

In line with this year's theme therefore, Udukhotse Foundation has been supporting vulnerable groups, including elderly persons, people living with disabilities, and women.

To make our world peaceful, let's join hands to support nursing mothers, challenged single women, both females and males facing hopeless situations.

Udukhotse Foundation is proud of her Creative Education Unit, run by young people (pioneer members) across Nigeria. The review of entries of The Chief Richard Lamai Prize closed yesterday, 29th December, 2025. The Foundation appreciates the NEC and members, focused judges (pioneer members and first class graduates) for seeing this 5th Edition through tough times, and a special thanks to the sole sponsor of the prize, Chief Richard Lamai.

The official report and the sole sponsor's endorsement of the outcome of the process, and recommendations by judges are expected to be published soon.
