A FATHER'S CRUELTY: The Ministry’s Swift Response.

On Wednesday, November 29, 2025, while our Chairperson was in the office of the Director, Child Development, Ministry of Women Affairs, Youth and Community Development, Asaba, a distressing case came to light — three children were being physically abused by their biological father and stepmother.

Without hesitation, officials of the Ministry, joined by our Chairperson, moved into swift action. Together, they proceeded to the B Division of the Nigeria Police, where the DPO promptly assigned officers to ensure the arrest of the offenders.

We’re grateful for the prompt collaboration and decisive response.
But one question still weighs heavily on our hearts:
What could make a father raise his hands against his own children?
